Chairman of Hayes Knight New Zealand, Craig Fisher joined a predecessor firm in 1993 and has been a director since early 1996.

Jointly responsible for Hayes Knight’s strategic direction, Craig is involved in the marketing strategy for the firm, oversees the Hayes Knight sustainability team and is one of the three New Zealand Audit Directors.

Craig has considerable audit experience across a wide variety of clients spanning commercial clients, not for profit organisations and schools. Craig was awarded a Fellowship in 2007 by the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants, for service to the profession, excellence and acknowledgement in research, teaching and writing.

Craig is a co-author of the Practical Auditing Manual, a regular contributor to industry publications and presents NZICA nationwide courses. He is a member of the Institute of Directors and was Chairman of the NZICA Professional Standards Board from 2001 – 2008 where he represented New Zealand internationally in audit and assurance standard setting.
