Ken Robertson

A public practitioner for over 25 years, Ken works primarily in the areas of Taxation, Corporate Services, Audit and Assurance and VIPCare Services. His understanding of the range of taxes including income, fringe benefits, PAYG, GST, Capital Gains Tax, and payroll tax qualify him to assist with queries on a broad range of topics.
He has also had many years experience in dealing with the Taxation Department, including successful objections to assessments and in more recent times successful applications for Private Rulings. He has also appeared before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal on behalf of clients in relation to taxation and valuation matters in connection with Centrelink assessments.
He is very proficient with salary packaging and has designed packages for well known sports people and consulted to leading businesses about packaging for their executives.
Ken is one of only a few Registered Company Auditors who has expertise in the valuations of businesses, and has been called on by other accounting practices to perform valuations in respect of employee share options schemes.
Dealing with the special taxation treatment of deceased estates has been an expertise gained over 25 years of working with solicitors on deceased estates. This has lead to the firm’s qualification as an VIPCare service provider. Having worked for so long in the taxation of deceased estates, Ken has become adept at estate planning issues and is regularly consulted by solicitors and clients on these matters.
Ken holds a Bachelor of Business Degree and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (FCA), the Taxation Institute of Australia (FTIA) and a member of the Taxpayer’s Association. He is a Registered Company Auditor, a Registered Tax Agent and a VIPCare Specialist.
His personal interests include rugby, motorcycle riding, tennis, cooking, off-road camping and art.
