Shortlisting

Applications are considered against the knowledge, skills, experience, competencies, and other requirements of the job. If you have the skills and experience we are looking for, we will call you either for a brief telephone interview or to arrange a time to discuss your application.

All non-shortlisted applicants will be advised by email that their application has been unsuccessful.

Interviewing

If you are shortlisted for a position we will be in touch with you to arrange a first interview.

A further shortlist will be made on the completion of first interviews and unsuccessful candidates will be contacted directly and advised of this.

Second interviews help us clarify and narrow down the most likely candidate. At second interview we also undertake a brief Extended DISC behavioural assessment. This 10 minute assessment profiles your natural behavioural style and helps us identify how to ensure a good culture fit with the role and the team. It does not determine which candidate we select.

Employment Screening

If you’re short-listed for a position, you’ll be required to provide at least two work related referees for us to contact.

These referees should be people you have reported to in prior positions. If this is not possible they must at least be people who have a working knowledge of your abilities and experience. This allows us to gain some understanding of how you have performed in previous positions and to further assess your suitability for the position that you’ve applied for.

With your permission we may also contact your University to confirm your qualifications and the HR department of previous employers to verify positions held and time spent in particular roles.

Being made an offer

If you are the preferred candidate, you will be made a verbal offer. If this is accepted you will then be given a written employment agreement which you can review and take the opportunity to seek independent feedback on prior to commencing work.
